The first publication to emerge from the Behind the Veil project, the
book-and-CD set includes excerpts from dozens of interviews, an introductory
essay by Duke University historian William H. Chafe, and two hours of
recordings.

RadioWorks documentary Remembering
Jim Crow
Broadcast in November, 2001, this one-hour radio documentary was largely
based on interviews collected for the Behind the Veil Project. The American
RadioWorks site features background material, original photography, interactive
elements, and streaming audio of the radio documentary.

Exhibition
Photographic portraits from the Behind the Veil collection were exhibited
in the Porch Gallery at the Center for Documentary Studies, September
9 – December 3, 2000.
